CTCPA Women's Awards 2024
Do you know an outstanding female CPA?
Each January, we celebrate outstanding females making their mark on the accounting profession, their companies, and their communities. Nominate someone for a 2024 award!
Nominations are due by August 21, 2023.
Winners are recognized in two categories:
Distinguished Service
Defined as one who has advanced to a higher level or leadership position within her organization. Titles include, but are not limited to, partner, owner, CFO, president, executive, etc.
A Distinguished Service Award winner:
- Demonstrates thought leadership,
- Has made major or unique contributions to the profession,
- Contributes to her community, and
- Mentors other professionals.
Distinguished Service applicants must:
- Be a member of the CTCPA and a CPA,
- Have at least 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance profession,
- Have a proven track record of career success, and
- Be currently employed in an accounting and finance leadership role.
Women to Watch
Defined as a professional who has made significant contributions to the profession and her community, but who has not yet reached the highest levels of advancement.
A Woman to Watch Award winner:
- Demonstrates leadership,
- Creates and implements unique initiatives, and
- Contributes to her community.
Women to Watch applicants must:
- Be a member of the CTCPA and a CPA,
- Have less than 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance profession,
- Have a progressive track record of career success, and
- Be currently employed in an accounting and finance leadership role.
