Volunteer Treasurer Position

The Friends of the Lucy Robbins Welles Advisory Board in Newington is looking for a volunteer treasurer.  The Friends of the Newington Library is a very active energetic organization.  We work very hard to support our fantastic library.  The treasurer’s position includes maintaining the financial records and printing checks using Quick Books, reconciling the monthly bank statement, preparing a monthly treasurers report, attending the monthly advisory board meeting and chairing the Finance committee. This is a great way to help the Friends of the Library in our mission to support the Library. The Friends raises money that pays for 95% of the Library programming.
