Overview
While ethics training is required by many states, the true value of the CPA license is in understanding how critically important ethical behavior is to one another, our customers, our firms, and the public. This course will explore the basic tenets of ethical behavior and use case studies to explore ethical dilemmas in various companies and organizations with a focus on dilemmas that may face CPAs in the industry.

Frank Ryan, F.X. Ryan & Associates, LTD
<p.Frank Ryan is president of a management consulting firm specializing in turnarounds, workouts, crisis management, strategic planning and working capital management. He has extensive experience working with banks in negotiating forbearance agreements, loan workouts, capital restructurings, vendor negotiations and bank lending requirements.
Prior to his consulting business, Mr. Ryan was the chief operating officer of a mid-sized manufacturing company. Additionally, he is the chairman of the Audit Committees of two publicly traded companies and has extensive board level experience in the for-profit and non-profit arenas.
He is a retired Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, and has served in numerous contingency operations to include Haiti, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He received the “Outstanding AICPA Instructor” award in 1994-95 and again in 2005-06.
