CTCPA Day of Giving – Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
ADNET Technologies, 400 Capital Boulevard, Rocky Hill (New location for 2025)
Rocky Hill – The Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) will host its fifth annual Day of Giving on Tuesday, December 2 (#GivingTuesday) from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at ADNET Technologies, 400 Capital Boulevard, Rocky Hill. Drive around to the back of the building to donate.
Since the Day of Giving began in 2021, CTCPA members have contributed more than $19,000 and thousands of pounds of donations to benefit local families. This year, the CTCPA, in collaboration with the CTCPA New and Young Professionals Group and the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, will once again rally to make a difference for Connecticut Foodshare and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
Important 2025 Updates: Monetary Donations Only for Connecticut Foodshare and Donation Matching Opportunity
Due to storage constraints and at the request of Connecticut Foodshare, this year’s Day of Giving will accept monetary donations only for the food drive portion. No food donations will be accepted.
“This year, the need in Connecticut is greater than ever,” said Bonnie Stewart, CEO of the Connecticut Society of CPAs. “Food pantries are under enormous strain, and every dollar matters. That’s why we’re focusing on cash contributions to Connecticut Foodshare – where your generosity goes even further. Thanks to Foodshare’s partnerships with grocery stores and food distributors, every dollar donated can provide multiple meals for those in need.”
In addition, a generous CTCPA member and his spouse, Joseph and Daria Clark, have pledged to match the first $5,000 in cash donations, increasing our impact and helping us make an even bigger difference.
Participants may make monetary donations online at www.ctcpas.org/DayofGiving or in person at the event on December 2, where attendees can record their total raised and take part in a “big check” group photo opportunity.
Toy and Activity Donations for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center
The drive will again collect donations for children and teens receiving care at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Suggested items include:
- Barbies, action figures, LEGO sets, and Matchbox cars.
- Infant and toddler toys (Fisher Price, Baby Einstein, etc.).
- Arts and crafts, STEM kits, coloring books, and board games for children and teens.
All items must be brand new, unwrapped, latex-free, and safety compliant.
