MahoneySabol Welcomes Crystal Germanese as Partner in Tax Department

MahoneySabol, a regional certified public accounting firm based in Glastonbury, announced the appointment of Crystal Germanese as a Partner in the firm's Tax Department. With over 20 years of experience working closely with privately held businesses and their owners, Germanese combines deep technical knowledge with a personalized approach to navigating complex tax matters. She brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to client care to her new role.

Germanese is recognized for developing tailored tax strategies that align with the unique goals of each client, helping them navigate evolving tax laws with clarity and confidence. Throughout her career, she has built strong client relationships by simplifying intricate tax issues and delivering practical advice.
Germanese has significant experience across a range of industries, including real estate, construction, and retail. Her well-rounded expertise strengthens MahoneySabol’s ability to serve clients with diverse and evolving needs.
Before joining MahoneySabol, Crystal spent two decades at CliftonLarsonAllen (formerly BlumShapiro), where she advanced to partner and served in that role for over ten years.
Germanese earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford. She currently resides in Berlin, CT, with her husband and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying active in her local community.

Germanese is MahoneySabol’s third lateral tax partner addition in the past 18 months. During this time, the firm has also celebrated an internal promotion to partner and completed a successful
