HarperWhitfield, P.C. proudly announces that Gregg Lionetti, CPA, CVA of Wallingford has been named Partner, effective July 2026.
Gregg began his career with HarperWhitfield in 2009 as a student co-op while attending Central Connecticut State University. What began as an early introduction to the profession ultimately became a career distinguished by technical excellence, trusted client service, and leadership.
After gaining extensive experience in public accounting, including as a Senior Tax Manager, Gregg returned to HarperWhitfield in 2024 as a Senior Manager. His admission to the partnership represents a full-circle professional milestone and recognizes the significant value he brings to the firm, its clients, and the accounting profession.
Gregg specializes in providing tax, accounting, valuation, and advisory services to closely held businesses, their owners, high-net-worth individuals, and trusts. His clients represent industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, consulting, architecture, and wholesale distribution.
Gregg resides in Wallingford with his wife and three children. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and a Master of Science in Accounting, with a concentration in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation, from Western New England University. He earned the Certified Valuation Analyst credential in 2023.
Gregg is a member of the CTCPA, AICPA, and NACVA.
