Overview
SSARS 21 significantly changed the way CPA services are being offered. The issuance of SSARS 27 in 2025 will also change the way public accountants approach the preparation of financial statements. There continues to be confusion on CPA responsibilities and procedures. This course will discuss the differences between bookkeeping, consultation, preparation, compilation, and review engagements. It will also discuss financial statement frameworks and how they influence the engagement as well as analytical procedures in review engagements
