DRS Updates Information on Impact of Federal Unemployment Compensation Exclusion on Connecticut Taxpayers

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) has updated DRS Taxpayer Services Special Bulletin, 2021-2, Impact of Federal Unemployment Compensation Exclusion on Connecticut Taxpayers.

In it, taxpayers are instructed to amend their Connecticut return by filing Form CT-1040X with the DRS to claim the unemployment compensation exclusion for Connecticut income tax purposes (in cases where a Connecticut return was already filed).
