Kim Nardone, CohnReznick Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by Giving Back

January 18, 2020

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is meant to be a "day on," not a "day off” - it's actually designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.

In Hartford, the Franciscan Center for Urban Ministry provides a meal once a week for the no-freeze shelter located at the Milner School on Vine Street in Hartford. This past Sunday, Kim Nardone, a partner in CohnReznick’s Hartford office, organized and led a team of volunteers to prepare more than 150 meals for people in need. Kim volunteers often at the Franciscan Center and supports their daily sandwich distribution; to mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Kim also coordinated a group of volunteers to provide cookies to go along with the day’s sandwiches.
