Accounting & Auditing Group Meeting

Overview

Ken Heaslip, Chair of the Accounting & Auditing and Financial Reporting Group, invites you to join the January 8th A&A Group Roundtable meeting.

The Accounting , Auditing and Financial Reporting Interest Group is reorganizing to provide a more useful service to members.  The Group plans to take a more active role in providing useful, updated information and facilitate the sharing of ideas.  We will undertake on a regular basis, discussions of the current activities of the FASB, AICPA, SEC, DOL, and other standard setters. 

Also, as part of the mission we will include discussions technology and other tools used by firms as well as adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.  The goal is to have representatives from many firms participate and become active in the sharing ideas.  A reorganizational meeting will be held virtually on January 8, 2026 from 9 to 10am.

Objectives

The Federal Income Taxation Committee is a team of tax professionals that work together to educate its members on changes and nuances of federal tax laws and/or regulations affecting individuals, corporations, and pass through entities.

This is accomplished through sponsored expert speakers, committee member meetings, and at the annual tax forum.

Members can also take advantage of Connect, the CTCPA's private online community, where members ask questions and discuss tax-related issues in real time.
