All faculty members at two- and four-year colleges/universities are invited to participate in the Connecticut Accounting Educators FOOD Group.
The AICPA and NASBA have released the CPA Evolution Curriculum for Accounting Programs in advance of the changes to the profession’s licensing model and CPA Exam expected in 2024 as part of the CPA Evolution project. We will devote our next session to discussion of the curriculum and how faculty can enhance their programs to integrate data analytics, systems, and new technology.
Our discussion will be led by Kimberly Swanson Church, Ph.D., BKD Professor of Leadership & Director of the School of Accountancy at Missouri State University. Dr. Church teaches in the areas of managerial and accounting information systems with an emphasis in data analytics and emerging technologies. Dr. Church served as the co-chair of the Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR) Task Force for the CPA Evolution Model Curriculum and a panelist for the informational webinars on the CPA Evolution sponsored the AICPA, NASBA, and AAA.
There are no membership dues or fees to attend, although advance registration is required.
