PKF O'Conner Davies Plans Pride Month Breakfast

June 26, 2019

Fifty years ago this month, police raided the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, sparking resistance from patrons and kicking off the modern fight for LGBTQ equality. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising and celebrate Pride Month, PKF O'Connor Davies plans to host a breakfast at all of its offices.

Staff were invited to wear their Pride apparel and mingle with colleagues - and perhaps brainstorm ideas of how the firm could be even more inclusive and think of ways to celebrate diversity throughout the year!

PKF O'Connor Davies formalized a diversity and inclusion initiative through a Diversity Council a couple of years ago as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to advancing inclusion and diversity in the accounting profession and in the communities they serve.
