Rob Reider CPA, MBA, Ph.D

Rob Reider Dr. Rob Reider; CPA, MBA, Ph.D; is the President of Reider Associates, a management and organizational consulting firm located in Santa Fe, New Mexico founded by Dr. Reider in 1976. His area of expertise encompasses planning, managerial and administrative systems and methods; financial and accounting procedures and controls; organizational behavior and theory; management information and control techniques; and management training and staff development. As a consultant, he has applied this expertise for clients in numerous disciplines, in the public and private sectors. Prior to Reider Associates, he was a consulting manager with Peat, Marwick and Mitchell (now KPMG) in Philadelphia. Rob is the course author and discussion leader for over 20 defferent workshops/seminars, and has presented over 1,000 such seminars across the country. He was awarded the AICPA Outstanding Discussion Leader of the Year Award. He is the course author of the Reider Associates self study courses Developing A Consulting Practice, Perational Auditing, Advising and Consulting to the Small Business, and Benchmarking Strategies. Rob is also the author of professional managers books published by John Wiley & Sons: Operational Review: Maximum Results at Efficient Costs (book and workbook); Benchmarking Strategies: A Tool for Profit Improvement; Improving the Economy, Efficiency, and Effectiveness of Not-for-Profits; Managing Cash Flow: An Operational Focus (co-author with Peter B. Heyler). Rob is considered a national expert in the area of performing operational program reviews and internal benchmarking studies (performance measurement) directed toward the identification and implementation of best practices in programs of continuous improvement. Rob has also been a presenter at numerous professional seminar offerings and programs around the country. He has published numerous articles in professional journals and has been a presenter at various professional meetings and conferences,many times the keynoter. He has been a frequent commentator on the monthly accounting and financial educational videotape programs produced by Primemedia Workplace Learning, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. Rob Reider (continued) Rob is the author of the novel "Road to Oblivion: The Footpath Back Home," which looks at the life of a downsized executive and life after downsizing. He is also the President and Managing Director of Concerned Productions, a social issue educational theater organization in Santa Fe. Rob has earned the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Master of Science in Business (MBA) from Drexel University; and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Organizational and Management Psychology from Southwest University.
