Accounting Crows
These CSCPA CPA Careers Conferences are designed to provide high school students with the opportunity to learn about the CPA profession and to find out what a CPA actually does in his or her career. Invitations are mailed out to all high schools in Connecticut in early September, giving educators the opportunity to bring interested college-bound juniors and seniors.
At this year’s events, students were introduced to some of the different career opportunities that becoming a CPA can offer by listening and interacting with a variety of speakers and members of the CSCPA. Also, courtesy of each college, participants were provided with breakfast foods, boxed lunches, raffle prizes, and the option to take part in a campus tour.
