Each year the University of Connecti-
cut (UConn) presents the Outstand-
ing Accountant Award to an account-
ing professional in recognition of
that person's outstanding service to
the UConn Accounting Department.
This year's honoree was Pricewa-
terhouseCoopers Hartford partner
and CTCPA member
Jeffrey Muzio.
Muzio is a member of the UConn
accounting department's Advisory
Council and speaks regularly at cam-
pus events. He was recognized for his
work in broadening Pricewaterhouse-
Coopers' relationship beyond the tra-
