"How Damages are Measured in Business Litigation"
Speaker: David Shaiken, Esq., David Shaiken, LLC
In order to prevail in a lawsuit, a plaintiff must prove liability
and damages. In business litigation, CPAs often are called
upon by their clients and lawyers to help calculate damages.
Do you know the proper methods for measuring damages in
business lawsuits? Learn the correct ways to measure dam-
ages for a variety of business claims, including breach of
contract, the problem of the lost-volume seller, fraud, unfair
trade practices, tortious interference with a contract, and
some special problems with calculating damages for default
of a promissory note.
