We'll discuss the nature and treatment of hedge fund
income and how its treatment differs from most other invest-
ment income. Some of the key questions that will be
addressed include: What is a hedge fund? How can peo-
ple invest in them? Is hedge fund income included with port-
folio income, is it passive or active, and what schedules are
used to report it?
