Hartford has been named a 2015 All
Star Award Winner by Constant Con-
tact. The annual award recognizes the
most successful 10 percent of Con-
stant Contact's customer base, based
on their achievements leveraging on-
line marketing tools to engage their
customer base and drive results for
their organization.
Stephen Pedneault,
owner of Forensic
Accounting Solutions
in Glastonbury, was
awarded a certificate
of achievement from
the Institute of Man-
agement Accountants for an article he
co-authored with Bonita Peterson,
"Shattered Trust: Fraud in the Family."
The piece, which was published in the
May 2015 issue of Strategic Finance,
was selected by the Lybrand Awards
Committee as one of the best articles
of the year.
Thirty students from West Hartford's Hall High School, Conard High School,
and Kingswood-Oxford School got an inside look at the range of businesses
and career opportunities in West Hartford Center in the third Annual JA Career
Walk in May. The event was hosted by BlumShapiro and Junior Achievement
(JA) of Southwest New England. Each business provided an overview and
tour, and discussed the type of professionals they employ and qualities they
look for when hiring.
