OPTIONS TO MEET CONNECTICUT'S EDUCATION
REQUIREMENT FOR CPA CERTIFICATION
will you have to faculty and their advisement? Is the faculty
knowledgeable in understanding your state's CPA requirements and
helpful in navigating through that process?
Career planning assistance - Check into the college's career services
office to see what it offers in terms of job placements and help preparing
for the work force. It may be a good idea to talk with alumni as well - they
can give you the scoop firsthand.
Geography/culture - Take into consideration the effect that a school's
location (big city, rural town) may have on you and how far away (if at all)
you want to be from home. Also, is the school you are considering
outside of your target employment location? It may be more difficult to
find a job in your preferred geographical area if your school is located far
away from where you want to work.
