Accounting majors at the University of Saint Joseph are able to complete all of their required accounting courses as undergraduates, meaning that they can sit for the Uniform CPA Exam upon completion of their Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Students seeking to become CPAs must also complete a minimum of 30 credits beyond the bachelor’s degree to meet the educational requirements of the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy to become licensed. This requirement can be met through earning our Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree (which can be completed in less than one year.) As a student in good academic standing, you are guaranteed admission to the MSM program; graduation application fees are waived and you are not required to take any graduate entrance exams. 75
