Professional Ethics

The CTCPA is a voluntary membership organization.  The CTCPA Professional Ethics Committee only has jurisdiction over complaints against CTCPA members.  To determine if an individual is a CTCPA member, please contact Practice Programs Manager Bonnie Olivieri at 860-258-0213 or bonnieo@ctcpas.org.  Members of the CTCPA Professional Ethics Committee are appointed by the CTCPA President.

The CTCPA Professional Ethics Committee considers each complaint to determine whether there may be a potential violation of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct.  If the committee believes the CPA may have violated the Code, the complaint is forwarded to the AICPA Professional Ethics Division for investigation and further communications to the complainant are sent by the AICPA.
