Connecticut Rising Sophomore Accounting Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship was established to financially assist Connecticut freshman accounting students who will be entering into their sophomore year of study at a four-year college or university in the fall of 2016.
Amount: $1,500
Maximum number of recipients: 4

Connecticut Rising Junior Accounting Scholarship

Overview: This renewable scholarship was established to financially assist Connecticut sophomore accounting students who will be entering into their junior year of study at a four-year college or university in the fall of 2016. At least one of these scholarships is designated for a Connecticut accounting student transferring from a community college to a four-year college or university.
Amount: $5,000 initially and renewable for up to $10,000 total

Connecticut Rising Senior Accounting Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship was established to financially assist Connecticut junior accounting majors who will be entering into their senior year of study at a four-year college or university in the fall of 2016.

Candidate's Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship was established to financially assist Connecticut accounting students in completing the 150-hour educational requirement of the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy for CPA certification.

Connecticut High School Accounting Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship was established to financially assist Connecticut high school seniors entering college in the fall of 2016 and planning to pursue accounting as their college major.
Amount: $500
Maximum number of recipients: 11

Application Process:
Applications are only available to high school faculty. Students must be recommended by their high school teacher and guidance counselor. Only one student per participating high school may submit an application for consideration.


Children of CTCPA Members Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship was established to financially assist students majoring in accounting who have a parent holding membership in the Connecticut Society of CPAs.
Amount: $500

Frank Frago Community Service Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship, named in honor of past CTCPA President Frank Frago, was established to financially assist undergraduate accounting majors who have shown leadership through continued commitment to community service

Connecticut Student Accounting Club Grants

Overview: The Educational Trust Fund of the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) provides financial support to accounting clubs/societies and Beta Alpha Psi chapters at Connecticut colleges and universities recognized by the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy.
