    Published bi-monthly, Connecticut CPA keeps you in touch. Each issue features CTCPA events and activities, member news and accomplishments, firm happenings, and articles written by members and industry experts.
  • Meet up online.
    Members use the CTCPA website to register for CPE and events, connect through the member directory, track CPE credits, and more. We’ll also meet up with you on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, sharing everything from breaking technical news to fun event photos!
  • Identify yourself as a CTCPA member.
    As a member, you have agreed to subscribe to the professional and ethical standards put forth by the CTCPA in its Constitution and Bylaws. Therefore, you are entitled and encouraged to identify yourself as a member through the inclusion of our “Member of CTCPA” logos on your website, stationery, etc.
  • Do some feel-good public service.
    Whether you’d like to help out with the annual CPA charity drives (so far we’ve collected food, coats, toys, school supplies, and items for the troops), teach a financial literacy workshop at a local high school, or host a student job shadow at your firm, you’ll find a way to give back to your community as a CTCPA member!
  • Connect with new and young professionals.
    The Society offers free student membership to college students and organizes special events for these new and young professionals, including charity sports tournaments and drives, happy hours, a holiday party, and more.

  • Set up your succession plan.
    Members are welcome to sign up for the Emergency Assistance and Emergency Continuation Plan, which provide assistance in the event death, incapacitation, or serious illness requires you or your family to seek continuation or the sale of a practice. You may register to have your name provided to practitioners requesting assistance.
